Department of Building, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria 1st Induction Ceremony into Graduate Cadre of the Nigerian Institute of Building (NIOB)
Yesterday, Thursday 26th January, 2023 a total of 64 Candidates were Inducted into the Graduate Cadre of the NIOB.
The Vice Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and former chairman of the Council of Registered Builders of Nigeria (CORBON) Bldr. Prof. Kabir Bala graced the occasion where he gave N100,000 to the 4 First Class graduates among the Inductees, N25,000 to each of them.
The Registrar of the NIOB Bldr. Dr. Napoleon D. Usman was also present and also gave a gift of N20,000 to the 4 first class graduates, N5,000 to each of them.
The NIOB Kaduna State Chapter Chairman Bldr. Mahmud Salihu also graced the occasion and gave the sum of N40,000 to the four 1st Class graduates, N10,000 to each.
Bldr. Dr. Mansur Dodo who recently become a fellow of the NIOB was awarded as an epitome of Integrity by NAOBS ABU Zaria and also Bldr. Prof. OG Okoli for his meritorious service to the department.
The event was also graced by high profile builders like Bldr. Prof. DD Danwata (HOD Building), Bldr. Dr. Muawiya Abubakar who anchored the programme, the Examination officer in person of Dr. Mamman, Dr. S Mohd, Malam Zayyad, Dr. Abdulsalam I.
